Almonte Readers & Writers is partnering with the Almonte Writers Guild to bring you the first in our Writing Craft Book Club series!

Join us on May 8th to discuss Anne Lamott's Bird By Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life. Since its publication in 1994, Lamott's book has been inspiring and guiding writers in all stages of their publishing journeys. 30 years later, we will discuss Lamott's writing advice and approach. Together, we will seek to answer whether Lamott's book deserves a spot on every writer's bookshelf.

This book club will focus on the craft of writing through books written by and for those in the industry. All books will be relevant to our vocation, but please seek out appropriate trigger and content warnings should they apply to you. While reading the book is not necessary for attendance, it will greatly increase your enjoyment of this discussion.
