Mill Street Books presents: An Afternoon with Terry Fallis, in conversation with Rod Carley

  • Mississippi Mills Public Library 155 High Street Almonte, Ontario Canada (map)

Presented by Mill Street Books, in partnership with Almonte Readers & Writers, and with the community support of the Mississippi Mills Public Library.

Since winning the Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour in 2008 for his first novel, The Best Laid Plans, Terry Fallis has been celebrated as one of Canada’s finest and funniest humour writers, compared to the likes of Robertson Davies and Leacock himself. He is the author of nine national best sellers.

Join award-winning author Rod Carley for a lively and memorable conversation with Terry as they discuss his latest novel, A New Season, its roots, his journey as a writer, why humour matters… along with a few surprises. Terry will read from latest bestseller, answer questions from the audience, sign copies of his books. There might even be a song or two.

Donations are to cover author expenses, with remaining proceeds going to Almonte Readers and Writers.
